Pioneers, The (Short Story)

"The Pioneers" is a short story written within the Worlds Apart Universe. It is set during the Commonwealth Era, approximately 3,000 years before the events inBooks 01-12. The story begins with two teenaged humans having clumsy, adolescent sex. The encounter results in the knocking up of the human female. The female's embryo is harvested and sold to  galactic colonization consortium, where it is put on a colony ship bound for the outer galaxy, where is it implanted with false memories. Eventually, it grows into an adult male human and arrives at the destination colony; unaware that all of its memories are not real.
