Vermilion – A well populated colony in the Puppis Sector named, most likely, for the reddish color of its sky, charted by the Pathfinder Ship Ark Royal; two members of the ship's crew battled in gladiatorial combat to gain access to the colony's Commonwealth Era star charts, which has been preserved as relics in their national museum.
Vermilion is the second planet of nine in the 48 111 Puppis System.
Vermilion is populated by approximately 400,000,000 human beings. It is member of the New Galactic Commonwealth. It's capital and largest city Elyria, where nine million people live.
